Hamartiology

The Doctrine of:
Sin
Picture
The Greek Word "Hamartano" is translated "sinned" in Romans 3:23; "trespass" in Matthew 18:15;  "offended" in Acts 25:8;  "faults in 1Peter 2:20.  It is the basis for this category of theological study.   Hamatiology is the study of everything having to do with the doctrine of sin.

While we have already discussed the doctrine of sin to some extent under the discussion about the fall of man.  In this section we will be discussing sin in much greater detail, not only in it's relation to man, but also in its role within the universe as a whole.  We will also address the so called problem of the origin of evil, and we will show how it is not a problem at all.  In fact it is not even an issue, its a complete non-issue, to anyone who holds a Bible oriented concept of God.  If evil is an issue for you, it is because you do not yet think Scripturally about it, and about God.
