The Invisible God has
Manifested Himself
God would be forever unknowable, and incomprehensible, had He not Manifested Himself. The incorporeal and invisible Spirit, has been seen, according to the Bible.
Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Heb 11:27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
Jn 1:32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.
Ex 24:9-10 Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel: And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.
Isa 6:1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

But I thought
No Man Has Ever Seen God?
Jn. 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
Ex. 33:20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
Ex. 33:20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
Isn't this a contradiction
in the Bible?
Either men have seen God or they haven't, which is it?
This idea, that God has revealed Himself is critical to the Christian Faith.
The entire history of the Bible, is in some sense the self-revelation or disclosure, the revealing or manifestation of God to man.
Some books of theology, go to great length describing so-called proofs for God. They talk about Cosmological argument, the Teleological argument, The Anthropological argument, the Moral argument, and so on. But the best proof for God, is simply that HE HAS REVEALED HIMSELF!
